Our riding association is powered by grassroots donations from people like you. Every penny of your donation goes to help us bring progressive change to Burnaby North-Seymour.
If you have taxable income, the federal political tax credit will rebate most of your contribution next year on your 2022 tax return:
• 75% of the first $400
• 50% of the next $350 (i.e. from $400 to $750)
• 33% of the next $850 up to a total maximum rebate of $650
So a $400 donation only costs you $100 after the tax credit, and a $100 donation only $25.
The maximum amount you can donate federally to all candidates in 2022 is $1675.
You must be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident to donate.
